INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST

Position Description Position Duties/Responsibilities You will generate and manage highly complex infrastructure and IT requirements across multiple security levels. You will administer, adhere to and/or execute security policies and constraints w/facilities contracting requirements and configuration and data management best practices. You will plan, execute, and recommend actions under general direction from program leadership while exercising independent judgment. You will oversee the day-to-day technical operation, maintenance, and security of the program’s IT architecture and cybersecurity strategies and recommend solutions to program leadership regarding technical and/or organizational challenges. You will maintain consistent, clear, and continuous communication with all team members and leadership, identifying areas of risk or concern early and often. You will direct and mentor a diverse team specializing in configuration and data management (CDM), facilities management, network administration, system administration, information security, COMSEC, and high-performance computational engineering. You will plan, prioritize, and coordinate work assignments for the team based on program priorities, and collaborates with other program team to ensure requirements are accurately captured and products are delivered on schedule.
