RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts starting at 5:30 AM on Medical/Surgical 6th Floor
• 36 guaranteed hours per week over 13-week contract
• Every other weekend required with holiday rotation
• Patient ratio of 1:5 during day shifts
• Float throughout facility within skillset and to all ThedaCare facilities within 60-mile radius
• No on-call or call-back requirements
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, AHA BLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 3+ years RN experience and 2+ years Med/Surg experience required
• Minimum 1 travel assignment experience required
• EPIC charting experience within last 2 years required
• Must have neuro/ortho trauma experience
• Required experience with chest tubes, PCA/epidural/Q-ball, CBI, post-op neuro trauma surgeries, and post-op ortho trauma surgeries
• Primary cases include trauma surgical, neuro, and ortho patients
• Black scrubs required
• 8-hour unbillable orientation required
• Previous travel experience required - candidates from within 50 miles of ThedaCare Corporate Neenah campus not accepted
• Must be hard worker, resilient, and manage change well
