CT Technologist

Role Overview CT Technologist applies expertise to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. They operate imaging equipment independently, capturing diagnostic images while maintaining safety protocols and ALARA principles. Key Responsibilities Perform CT procedures following department guidelines, ensuring diagnostic image quality. Maintain equipment cleanliness, identify issues, and support infection control. Obtain patient history, verify orders, and explain procedures using AIDET to reduce anxiety. Ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy; administer contrast and position patients appropriately. Review images for diagnostic acceptability, repeat/correct as needed, and document accurate in RIS/PACS. Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and assist with equipment maintenance. Organize workflows, support departmental operations, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Minimum of 1 year radiology experience. Certifications: ARRT - R (Radiography), ARRT - CT, and BLS (American Heart Association).
