They will need experience in operating lifting devices such as forklifts, boom, scoop, lift bean, swivel hook, fork grapple, clamps, hitch, elevating platform, or trailer.ResponsibilitiesMove levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatusPosition forks, lifting platform or other lifting device under, over or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, materials.Hooks tow trucks to trailer hitch, and transports load to designated areaUnload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting deviceInventory materials on work floor and supply workers with materials as neededWeigh material or product and records weight on tags, labels or production schedulesLoad/Unload material on and off pallet, skid or lifting deviceOther duties as assignedSkills, AbilitiesSkilled In:Verbal communicationUsing tools required in this positionMultitasking, paying attention to detailAbility To:To drive forklifts that may include Cherry Picker, Hi/Lo Reach, 4 wheel sit down, Turret etc.Selective PreferenceThe ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience driving experience; High School diploma, GED or suitable equivalentBenefitsFull benefit package including Health, 401k, Dental, VisionOur House RulesSHOOT STRAIGHT Tell it like it is.
