Advanced Systems Implementation Trainer - Data Analytics

Position Summary This specific Systems Training position focuses on Light & Wonder's Casino Systems Data Analytics product. As an Advanced System Implementation Senior Trainer, you will provide advanced-level software training services, in person, onsite at client locations, via virtual classrooms, and develop electronic training materials for Light & Wonder customers and internal employees. Training services include supporting customer and employee understanding and effective use of Light & Wonder enterprise software solutions, conducting business analysis, and providing advanced follow‑up training services. Essential Job Functions Learn and understand Light & Wonder suite of Gaming Systems products, focusing on the Casino Systems Data Analytics product. Understand and translate complex product features into training curriculum that enables clients to use the solutions effectively and gain expected value. Read, analyze, interpret, and apply all current and future systems training, installation, and user guide documentation of Light & Wonder products and interfaces. Create, update, and maintain learning materials such as training agendas, curriculum, job aids, training videos, PowerPoint presentations, user manuals, business process workflows, learning guides, quick reference guides, sign‑in sheets and evaluations for training classes. Conduct and interpret business and gap analysis, document and translate business processes into software functionality, configure Light & Wonder Systems, and customize test scripts to fit casino business practices. Prepare and set up environments for hands‑on training activities. Deliver advanced instructor‑led classroom training for both in‑person and remote participants, including customers and employees. Deliver and support Unit Testing, Super User Training (SUT), End User Training (EUT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and advanced follow‑up training and issue resolution. Troubleshoot technical issues during training classes and project life cycle, identify solutions or workarounds. Provide go‑live support across all casino areas, ensuring software performs properly. Mentor, monitor, and evaluate entry‑level and lead system trainers. Participate in continuous improvement for curriculum, classroom experience, and trainer effectiveness. Schedule and facilitate training for internal and external customers on Light & Wonder technology products. Identify, promote, and schedule future training engagements for customers. Collaborate with cross‑functional technical and non‑technical stakeholders across multiple business units and act as liaison between the customer and Light & Wonder. Prioritize and plan, consistently delivering high‑quality deliverables on time. Qualifications Minimum eight years of training or teaching experience. Minimum eight years of technical experience, preferably software related. Minimum two years of data analysis or data analytics experience. Preferred two years of casino operations, gaming experience, or Light & Wonder system product knowledge. Accounting or marketing experience is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong grasp of training and learning practices. Excellent public speaking and presentation skills. Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and perform under stress. Strong customer service, problem‑solving, decision‑making, and interpersonal skills. Experience in leadership and mentoring. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Visio). Basic knowledge of networks, server architecture, and infrastructure. Strong technical, analytical, and creative problem‑solving skills. Valid driver’s license, passport, and ability to secure and maintain gaming licenses. Data Analytics Focus Basic knowledge of database engines, table structures, and services. Ability to write complex SQL queries on large datasets. Proficient in Tableau Desktop and Server: create dashboards, data extracts/sources, manage server access and subscriptions, create complex calculations, and visualize data. Knowledge of R or Python is a plus. Ability to create reports using SSRS; prior knowledge of SSAS cubes is a plus. Education Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or related field. Relevant equivalent work experience is acceptable in lieu of a bachelor’s degree. Working Environment Travel – 60%+ of time.
