Senior Internal Communications Manager

Senior Lead, Employee Experience & Internal CommunicationsFivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies.We're looking for an amazing individual to join Fivetran's Employee Experience team as our Senior Lead, Employee Experience & Internal Communications. This role goes beyond writing great comms — you'll also help design how employees experience Fivetran day to day, from how we listen to them, to how we recognize them, to how we bring them together as a community. You'll craft compelling communications for employees around the world, build the frameworks that connect employees to one another and to our priorities, and design programs that make people feel heard, valued, and energized — all in service of our company mission.You'll be hands-on: writing stellar communications, designing employee listening mechanisms, building recognition programs, and running culture and community initiatives. You'll also zoom out — building frameworks and cadences that scale, and using data (surveys, engagement metrics, attendance, participation) to tell a story about how the organization is doing and what to do next.Technologies You'll Use: Google Suite, NotionWhat You'll Do:Internal Communications Own the internal communications strategy, calendar, and multi-channel distribution framework, spanning both the People and COO organizationsWrite and edit clear, engaging content for internal audiences across our internal wiki and other channelsCraft consistent messaging on company updates, initiatives, and achievementsSupport leadership on change and reorg communications, ensuring transparency and buy-inManage and optimize internal communication channels (email, intranet, Slack, and other digital platforms)Develop and maintain a crisis communications plan for unexpected events affecting the company and its employeesEmployee Listening Design and run an employee listening framework across employee groups (e.g., ERGs) and around key moments (e.g., reorgs), at a minimum quarterly cadenceEstablish feedback mechanisms to gauge the effectiveness of communications and programs, and translate what you hear into actionRecognition Build and document a company-wide recognition framework, pilot it with an initial team, and iterate based on resultsIntegrate recognition into everyday tools and processes (e.g., Slack, Workday) and align it with company valuesCulture Identify and help launch culture initiatives grounded in our top company valuesTrack and report on awareness and adoption (e.g., through the annual company survey)Events & Community Design a connection framework for events and community programming, including remote/distributed hubsPlan and deliver company events (holiday, community, and milestone moments) with clear attendance and satisfaction goalsData & Storytelling Analyze and present data (survey results, attendance, engagement, participation) accurately and use it to tell a clear story that drives decisionsSkills We're Looking For:6+ years of experience across internal communications and employee experience/engagement, with excellent, clear, simple writingDemonstrated experience designing employee listening, feedback, or survey programsExperience building or running employee recognition programsExperience planning and executing company-wide events or community programming, including for distributed/remote teamsStrong ability to analyze and present data accurately, and use it to tell a storyAbility to prioritize effectively and lead and execute independently as a senior individual contributorExperience working cross-collaboratively with employees and executives at all levelsFluent in best practices across internal communication channelsUnderstanding of how communications, recognition, culture, and leadership intersectExperience driving behavior change through communications and program designExcellent written and verbal communication skillsBonus Skills:Previous experience in founder-led startup organizationsExperience with NotionFluency with AI toolPay Range $140,054 —$175,067.50 USDPerks and Benefits:100% employer-paid medical insuranceGenerous paid time away from work, including paid vacation or flexible/unlimited vacation depending on role and country, plus paid sick time, inclusive parental leave, paid holidays, including a year-end Global Week of Rest, and volunteer days off.RSU stock grantsProfessional development and training opportunitiesCompany virtual happy hours, free food, and fun team-building activitiesMonthly cell phone stipendAccess to an innovative mental health support platform that offers personalized care and resources in areas such as: therapy, coaching, and self-guided mindfulness exercises for all covered employees and their covered dependents.* May vary by country and worker type - please reach out to your recruiter for more information
