Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer will lead quality assurance activities across the software development lifecycle, develop test strategies, and drive the integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Key responsibilities Lead the planning, design, and execution of quality assurance activities to ensure software meets quality and reliability standards Develop and oversee test strategies, test plans, and automated testing frameworks while guiding QA team members Manage defect reporting, prioritization, and quality metrics to support informed release decisions and continuous improvement Required qualifications U.S. citizenship or Green Card status with the ability to obtain a public trust clearance Minimum of six years of experience in quality assurance, software testing, or application development for enterprise systems At least two years of experience providing quality assurance and testing support for AWS-based workloads Strong experience developing test automation using Playwright with JavaScript or TypeScript Experience designing, maintaining, and integrating CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions with AWS services
