Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - Remote Position

We are looking for a highly skilled Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team in a remote capacity.

**Position Overview:**

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced CPA to manage our financial records, assist in budgeting, tax preparation, and overall financial strategy. As a remote member of our team, you will work closely with our executive team to ensure the financial health and regulatory compliance of our real estate operations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements for the company, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
* Manage all aspects of tax compliance and filing, including individual and corporate taxes.
* Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing processes.
* Provide financial reporting and insights to leadership for strategic decision-making.
* Develop and implement budgeting and forecasting strategies for the company.
* Manage real estate-related accounting processes such as property management, acquisitions, and transactions.
* Reconcile accounts and maintain a detailed general ledger.
* Ensure compliance with all real estate accounting standards and regulations.
* Monitor and report on cash flow, payroll, and investments.
* Offer recommendations to improve financial performance and mitigate risks.

**Qualifications:**

* CPA certification is required.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a strong focus on real estate or property management accounting.
* Experience with financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
* Strong knowledge of tax regulations, including real estate-related taxes.
* Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Yardi, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
* Ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
