Join us.Job DescriptionJoin AECOM’s Transportation team in Atlanta and contribute to the delivery of roadway projects that improve safety, mobility, and connectivity across Georgia. As a Roadway Design Engineer, you will support the development of roadway designs through engineering analysis, modeling, and plan production, while working closely with lead engineers and project managers on a wide range of transportation projects. This position offers a hybrid work option.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Produce roadway design calculations, models, plan sheets, quantities, and cost estimates.Perform self-checks and resolve comments to ensure accuracy and consistency of deliverables.Support Lead Engineers with technical analyses and design development.Apply GDOT standards and requirements to assigned tasks.Coordinate with other disciplines to support integrated project delivery.Track individual task assignments, schedule, and level of effort.Proactively identify and communicate technical issues or risks.QualificationsMinimum:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related discipline and 2 years of related roadway project management experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.Preferred:Georgia PE License or ability to receive within 12 months.Fiveyears of experience designing roadway projects.Experience designing Georgia roadway projects.Additional InformationSponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.Relocation is not an option for this positionAt AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
