Patient Access Associate

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Patient Access Associate to join our Patient Access team in the Emergency Department in Bolivar, Missouri - someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve. Position Details Status: Full Time Work Shift: Evenings Hours: 12:00p.m -12:00a.m Shift Differential: $1.00 What Your Day Looks Like: We work to make the patients' initial contact with Citizens Memorial Hospital a pleasant, stress-free experience and to gather the appropriate patient information to maintain an accurate medical record. As a Patient Access Associate, you will be: Registering accounts for CMH ambulance reports accurately and efficiently. Creating a friendly atmosphere for those seeking services in the Emergency Room. Completing registration of all Pre-ER accounts accurately and timely based on notification of medical screenings being performed in accordance with EMTALA guidelines. Ensuring correct insurance mnemonics are listed, and billing addresses are given. Cross-training when applicable to function in various areas of Patient Access.
