General Laborer

This role involves performing heavy general production and warehouse work, including packaging large and irregularly shaped automotive components such as bumpers and fenders. You will work on your feet throughout the shift, handling materials that often weigh 50 pounds or more, and supporting shipping, receiving, and general labor activities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy general production work, including grinding, deburring, packaging, and assembly of products.
• Package oddly shaped bumpers, fenders, and other components weighing 50 pounds or more, ensuring items are secure and protected for shipment.
• Support general labor tasks such as pulling orders, staging materials, and organizing inventory in a production and warehouse setting.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including loading, unloading, and moving materials using appropriate tools and methods.
• Use hand tools and basic equipment safely and effectively to complete daily tasks.
• Work on your feet for the full shift, consistently lifting, carrying, and moving items up to 6070 pounds as needed.
• Collaborate with a core team of 710 coworkers within a larger group of approximately 25 to meet production and order fulfillment goals.
• Follow all safety procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment such as goggles and steel-toe footwear.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area to support smooth production and warehouse operations.
• Adapt to changing priorities and production demands in a fast-paced environment, including occasional extended hours.

Essential Skills

• 12 years of general labor lead experience in a production or warehouse setting.
• 12 years of general production, warehouse, inventory, or shipping and receiving experience in a fast-paced environment such as production, construction, or a vehicle repair shop.
• Hands-on experience with grinding and deburring tasks.
• Experience with packaging and assembly work in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• General labor experience, including consistent lifting and material handling.
• Experience in construction, shipping and receiving, or similar physically demanding roles.
• Proficiency using hand tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 6070 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to work on your feet for the entire shift in a physically demanding environment.
• Strong attention to safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working in a non-climate-controlled production or warehouse environment.
• Comfort working with large and irregularly shaped parts such as bumpers and fenders.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team of 710 within a larger group of approximately 25 employees.
• Flexibility to work up to 50 hours per week as needed.
• Experience in fast-paced environments such as production facilities, construction sites, or vehicle repair shops.
• Reliability and consistency in attendance and punctuality.

Work Environment

This position is based in a non-climate-controlled production and warehouse environment. You will work as part of a team of approximately 25 people, with a core group of 710 colleagues focused on pulling orders and performing general labor duties. The role involves frequent lifting of 6070 pounds and working on your feet throughout the shift. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with rare Saturday work, and the shift will move to 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. during cooler months. Safety is a priority, and goggles and steel-toe footwear are required as part of the dress code. The environment is fast-paced and production-oriented, with a focus on teamwork, safety, and consistent output.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
