You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our engineering culture and driving the future of HR teams across Europe. About the Role As part of our Developer Experience (DX) tribe, the Frontend Developer Experience (FeDX) team empowers engineers to build, test, and deploy code swiftly and reliably. You’ll focus on enhancing developer efficiency by developing robust tools, optimizing DevOps processes, and championing software development best practices. Responsibilities Research, engineer, and innovate to enhance developer satisfaction and increase velocity through efficient tooling. Manage the end-to-end process of building, testing, deploying, releasing, and monitoring frontend components across all environments. Collaborate closely with product teams to support platform-specific migrations and translate challenges into actionable solutions. Act as a technical leader within the team, fostering a culture of best practices in technical debt management, refactoring, design patterns, and coding principles. Mentor and coach fellow engineers to nurture the next generation of technical leaders. Drive platform advancements with new strategies to uphold quality, reliability, security, performance, and cost-effectiveness. Partner with engineering managers to ensure iterative delivery aligned with impactful outcomes and a culture of experimentation. Qualifications Over 8 years of software engineering experience with a focus on scalable applications, tools, or distributed systems. Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring, pair programming, and facilitating technical brainstorming sessions. Proficiency in TypeScript, with expertise in NodeJS services and React frontends, including their build ecosystems. Proven track record of designing, building, documenting, and distributing developer-centric solutions such as services, CLI tools, scripts, and plugins. Strong advocate for development processes and best practices, with a keen interest in optimizing and automating workflows. Passion for crafting technical documentation and tutorials to enhance developer productivity. Data-driven mindset with a knack for using metrics to guide engineering decisions. Excellent communication skills in English (C1/C2 on the CEFR scale).
