Heavy Industrial Machine Operator (Crane/Forklift)

Your impact

• Maintain throughput by loading and unloading machines using forklifts, overhead cranes, and manual handling.
• Stage materials for processing to reduce downtime and keep lines moving.
• Carry out preventive maintenance tasks to support equipment reliability.
• Uphold 5S principles: clean, orderly workstations—every shift, every day.
• Support daily production goals through safe, consistent execution.

What it takes to succeed

• Preferred background: 1–3 months of experience or related training; or an equivalent blend of education and experience.
• Willing and able to work rotating shifts (morning, afternoon, midnight).
• Physical stamina to bend, stoop, and stand 8 to 12 hours.
• Strength to regularly lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort reading safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; capable of writing routine reports and correspondence.
• Math competency across whole numbers, fractions, and decimals; able to calculate rate, ratio, and percentage.
• Accurate computer data-entry skills.
• Preferred skills: overhead crane operation, forklift operation, and micrometer use.
• Prepared to work in areas that may involve exposure to extreme heat.
