Rotating Saturdays and Sunday.Pay rate: $ 24.51 – 26.27/ hr (Based on years of experience)Job Description:The Patient Services Representative (PSR II) represent the face of our company to patients who come in, both as part of their health routine or for insights into life-defining health decisions.PSR II draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.PSR II have direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner.PSR II will demonstrate Leadership Behaviors while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information. Successful applicants may be assigned to a doctor's office, a patient service center or as business needs dictate.Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.Job Responsibilities:Perform safe, accurate venipuncture and capillary blood draws, including pediatric and geriatric collectionsConduct clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing following established proceduresPrepare, label, verify, and process specimens for laboratory testingVerify patient demographics, initials, and obtain patient signature post-venipuncture to confirm correct labelingClearly explain procedures to patients to ensure comfort, trust, and confidenceMaintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standardsPerform daily duties accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisorMaintain a clean, safe, and professional work environmentDemonstrate leadership behaviors, process excellence, and confidentiality of patient informationJob Requirements:Ability to provide high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume settingDemonstrated professional judgment and decision-makingReliable transportation and valid driver's license (if applicable)Willingness to follow all company policies, including:Dress codeEmployee Health & SafetyEveryday Excellence Guiding PrinciplesFlexible availability to support staffing needsCommitment to company policies, dress code, employee health & safety, and Everyday Excellence principlesMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.Phlebotomy certification preferred.
