Job Summary


As a Shipping Associate, you'll be responsible overseeing both outgoing and incoming shipments while keeping documentation and inventory records accurate and up to date. From preparing and packaging parts to distributing materials to their appropriate departments, you'll help ensure that products move smoothly through the facility.


Schedule Options

• Monday to Friday: 7:00am-3:30pm
• Monday to Friday: 8:00am-4:30pm

Pay

• $23.00-$25.33/hour, based on experience
• Weekly paychecks every Friday

Location and Work Environment

• Openings at the Champlin, MN facility
• Openings at the Dayton, MN facility
• Clean working environment
• Option to wear one earbud on the production floor

Responsibilities and Duties

• Prepare required paperwork and package parts using the correct shipping methods
• Reference customer purchase orders and internal job routings
• Review delivery schedules and ship orders to meet customer deadlines
• Create and print packing lists, then assemble packing lists and all required documentation
• Package parts securely to prevent damage during shipment
• Schedule and arrange shipping methods as needed
• File and route completed paperwork and documentation
• Plan shipping activities to ensure jobs meet their due dates

Skills and Qualifications

• 0-3 years of related experience OR training OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• Previous forklift experience (preferred)
• Previous inventory system knowledge (preferred)
• Previous BOM and MRP experience (preferred)
• Previous cycle counting experience (preferred)
• Previous experience using Epicor (preferred)
• High school diploma OR equivalent (required)
• Pre-employment background check (required)
• Pre-employment drug screen (required)
