Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Chattanooga, Tennessee.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Med Surg\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: ASAP\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs\n Hours: 36 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Aug 31, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 3\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN with strong Ortho/Spine experience for a night shift position requiring a TN or compact RN license.Details\n \n Work on a 26-bed Ortho/Spine unit within a hospital setting\n Care for patients undergoing knee and hip replacements as well as multi-level spine surgeries\n Patient ratio of 6:1\n Unit supported by unit secretary, PCTs, and a Navigator\n Utilizes coolers, walkers, SCDs, and CPMs\n Charting is done in Meditech\n Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM\n 4 weekend shifts required per schedule\n Floating required on a rotational basis\n Requirements\n \n Active TN or compact RN license required\n Minimum 2 years of RN experience required\n Strong background in orthopedics required\n No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months\n Additional Information\n \n Navy scrubs required as part of the dress code\n Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, no local candidates accepted\n First-time travelers may be considered\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-744285.
