Overview Licensed Practical Nurse LPN - Home Health – Full Time Location: McDonough, GA, US Salary Range: $61,000.00 to $92,000.00 Annually Visiting Nurse Health System (Visiting Nurse) is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Home Health team who is a skilled nurse and a calm, compassionate, and empathetic presence caring for our patients. The position is non-exempt and typically works Monday through Friday across Ellenwood & Lithonia. This role is headquartered at our corporate office at Ravina in Dunwoody, GA. Responsibilities Provide nursing care, emotional support, patient and family education regarding disease process, self-care techniques, prevention strategies, clinical nursing observations, and documentation for Home Health patients. Provide nursing services as ordered by the physician and under the direction of the RN. Report subjective and objective patient findings to the RN. Under the direction of the RN, obtain physician’s orders and ensure orders exist for each visit made. Provide necessary skills to report changes appropriately; document pertinent information and care rendered to the patient to ensure continuity of care. Demonstrate knowledge of infection control standards and techniques per VNHS policy and procedures and consistently practice these techniques.
