This includes all hiring, training, schedule writing, cost controls, inventory control, cash control and customer relations. You must set the example. You must follow ALL policy and procedures 100% of the time and expect the same from your crew. Job Duties Operate all equipment Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler. Prepare product. Receive and process telephone orders. Take inventory and complete associated paperwork. Clean equipment and facility approximately daily. Training Orientation and training provided on the job. Essential Skills Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions. Good verbal communication with customers and co-workers. Mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide quickly and accurately; make correct monetary change. Motor coordination for precise movements. Computer or touch screen order entry. Work Conditions Exposure to varying weather, temperatures 36-90°F, fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts. Sensory demands include talking, hearing, vision, depth perception, heat/cold differentiation. Physical Demands Standing: most tasks; Walking: short distances; Sitting: paperwork at desk or table; Lifting: deliveries up to 50 pounds; Carrying: heavy cans, sauce, pizza dough trays; Pushing: dollies up to 30" with 7.5 pounds force; Climbing: stairs or ladder for maintenance; Bending at waist, stooping, crouching, squatting as needed.
