Job Description As a Security Officer Front Desk Full Time in Lithonia, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a retail distribution location, you will be the welcoming presence for visitors and employees, helping to maintain a secure environment through access control, visitor management, communication, and exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.07 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon05:00 AM - 01:00 PMTue05:00 AM - 01:00 PMFri05:00 AM - 01:00 PMSat05:00 AM - 01:00 PMSun05:00 AM - 01:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, delivery personnel, and team members at a retail distribution location while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies. Staff the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and access records. Monitor access points, incoming communications, and security-related systems from a stationary post; report unusual activity or access concerns according to site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed. Support a professional and welcoming front-desk environment while following established procedures for deliveries, contractor check-in, and outbound communications. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
