Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician II to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial manufacturing equipment and plant systems. This position performs preventive maintenance, diagnoses equipment failures, and completes mechanical, electrical, welding, and other repairs to minimize downtime and maintain safe, reliable production operations. The ideal candidate has hands-on industrial maintenance experience and strong troubleshooting skills across multiple equipment systems.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment and plant systems to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and control system issues.
• Work with 480-volt, three-phase electrical systems and troubleshoot AC/DC drive motors and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Install, program, and troubleshoot PLCs and AC/DC drive motors.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to established schedules and accurately document completed work, inspections, and repairs.
• Complete maintenance tasks involving welding, carpentry, instrumentation, and equipment controls as needed.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and applicable electrical safety, arc flash, confined space, and hot work requirements.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and ensure tools and equipment remain in proper working condition.
• Identify maintenance supply needs, provide input on purchasing, and help maintain necessary parts and supplies.
• Report safety incidents, near misses, equipment concerns, and maintenance issues through established procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, follow standard work procedures, and collaborate with production and maintenance personnel.
• Cross-train in production functions as needed and respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and urgent maintenance requests.

Requirements:

• At least one year of hands-on industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Demonstrated experience working with 480-volt, three-phase electrical systems.  
• Ability to install, program, and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and AC/DC drive motors.  
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.  
  Knowledge of and ability to follow lockout/tagout (LOTO), arc flash safety, confined space entry, and hot work permit requirements.  
• Ability to work overtime as needed; ability to meet deadlines.  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond urgently to down equipment  
• Good communication skills with the ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.  
• Forklift License preferred.  
• Must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, kneel, talk, hear, and lift to 50 lbs.

Schedule:

• 1st & 2nd Shift | Monday – Friday | Overtime as needed

Compensation:

• $35.00 per hour
