Engagement Specialist

: Title: Engagement Specialist Worksite: Warren County Service Center County: Warren Hours Status: Full-Time Pay Range: $14.00 hourly TRAVEL: Some travel required POSITION SUMMARY: Engagement Specialist position assists clients experiencing severe mental illness, severe emotional disturbance or chronic substance misuse with completion of surveys and ensuring accurate data entry. DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

• Provides support and advocacy during completion of required surveys, ensuring client understands the questions and thoughts are being conveyed.
• Collects information from client and records responses.
• Provides language interpretation services if relevant.
• Completes data entry tasks within specific timeframes, ensuring their punctual completion and the preservation of high-quality standards.
• Organize and categorize documents in preparation for data input.
• Precisely inputs information into computer systems and databases.
• Safeguards the integrity and confidentiality of data.
• Builds and maintain positive professional relationships with clients, and co-workers, adhering to the code of ethics and agency policy.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word. Skill in use of personal computers and related software applications, including e-mail
• Outstanding typing precision
• Proven ability to learn and navigate job specific program
• Possession of a high school diploma or its equivalent
• Aptitude for managing sensitive information with integrity

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: The ability to work with persons in a manner that shows respect for individual differences is needed. Must possess organizational, oral, and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals in a diverse community. Skill in organizing and establishing priorities.
