Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to the admissions email inbox.
• Enter, maintain and review records across key platforms, including the Student Information System (Banner), CRM (TargetX) and BusinessCAS (CAS).
• Coordinate the loading of application documents from CAS and handle the technical processing of incoming files.
• Navigate applicant records, application materials, review queues, checklists and statuses. Understand how actions taken during review affect downstream processes.
• Handle student records, personally identifiable information and institutional data appropriately, including FERPA requirements.
• Carry out specialized processing workflows for graduate programs and graduate student applications.
• Process graduate admissions applications and supporting documents using Banner, TargetX and other university systems.
• Review transcripts and academic records for completeness, prior enrollment history and admissions eligibility.
• Evaluate and recalculate GPAs as needed.
• Verify English proficiency documents and international applicant requirements.
• Serve as the primary contact for applicants by phone, email and in person.
• Prepare correspondence about admissions requirements, credential evaluations and application status.
• Review and process applications and supplementary materials promptly and accurately. This includes following up on missing materials, reviewing domestic and international high school curricula, recalculating GPAs and other application-related data entry.
• Proofread information against required standards, and sort and file records.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with enterprise systems.
• Professional experience working with databases.
• A Bachelor’s degree, or an Associate’s degree plus at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Administrative experience in higher education.
• Experience with Banner, Slate or PeopleSoft.

Skills and Abilities

• Strong command of standard vocabulary, spelling, grammar and punctuation.
• Accurate keyboarding and data entry.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations, such as GPA calculations.
• Ability to follow oral instructions and understand written materials.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
