Class B Delivery Driver - Denver, CO Hillyard is looking for a Delivery Driver for our Denver location. As a Delivery Driver, you will receive extensive training to learn our products, equipment, and delivery processes. You will handle customer orders, maintain a DOT-certified vehicle, assist with warehouse duties, and provide friendly, professional customer service. Responsibilities Deliver products efficiently within and around the Denver area. Assist in warehouse duties, including pulling and loading the vehicle as needed. Greet and acknowledge customers, responding promptly to questions. Perform any additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Knowledge of the delivery area and ability to read maps and follow directions. Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Independent worker. Valid Class B CDL, health card, HAZMAT, and airbrakes endorsements. Must pass post-offer employment tests, DOT physical, drug/alcohol test and background check. Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required. Previous delivery driver experience preferred. Computer literacy required; SAP experience preferred. Physical Demands The Driver’s physical job demands include frequent lifting up to 50 lbs from 48 in. to floor; occasional carrying of 50 lbs for 100 ft+; frequent horizontal push/pull up to 35 lbs; frequent downward push/pull; climbing; walking; standing; and sitting. The PDC Level is HEAVY.
