About the Position

Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Physical Therapist Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2+ years in acute nursing care and home care required; home health experience including proficiency with OASIS required License: Valid Massachusetts Physical Therapist License required Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS required Must-Have: - Home Health Certified - Able to work independently with minimal supervision - Valid Driver License Description: The physical therapist is responsible for providing physical therapy services to clients. The primary function is the provision of direct patient care. This includes collaboration with other team members and participation in the development of the patient's comprehensive plan of care. Rehabilitation equipment utilized may include splints, orthoses, prostheses, wheelchairs, and ADL equipment. Familiarity with modalities is required. Travelers must have their own vehicle for this role. All requests for time off must be included during the submission process. Any traveler residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered. Candidates must be able to pass a fit test and use an N95 mask. PAPRs are not available for home health settings. Rotating weekend and holiday coverage may be required, if needed.
