Shift: 12 hours, nights
Employment Type: Travel

Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to join a high-acuity Mother/Baby team. Travelers will float between Labor & Delivery and Perinatal units, providing comprehensive care to mothers and newborns in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Akron, OH
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Nights | 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Unit Details

17-bed Labor & Delivery unit with birthing tubs
10 Perinatal beds
Traveler expected to float between both units
L&D Nurse-to-Patient Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2
Perinatal Ratios: 1:3 average, up to 1:4 depending on acuity

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
Recent Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months
Recent Phlebotomy experience within the last 12 months (must be listed on resume)
Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
Must be comfortable floating between units

Required Certifications

BLS
ACLS
PALS
NRP
Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
STABLE Certification
