We’re looking for a candidate who specializes in HPC Linux systems to help us identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in mission-critical work.As a HPC and Linux Systems Specialist on our project, you’ll maintain the current on-prem architecture and constantly look for ways to make the infrastructure better using the latest technology and the best implementation strategies. You Have: 5+ years of experience with systems automation scripting in Bash, Perl, or Python5+ years of experience with Linux systems administration, including automated OS provisioning, software updates and package management, user accounts management, filesystems and access management, compiling software and kernel modules, versioning, or environment modulesExperience configuring, deploying, and managing batch queueing systems for HPC clusters such as SGE, LSF, or SlurmKnowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices for securing HPC environmentsKnowledge of system performance monitoring and actions that can be taken to improve or correct performanceAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or EngineeringNice If You Have: Experience coordinating with change control and environment management, network, and security teamsExperience in automation of server deployment, common tasks, and installation proceduresExperience developing systems monitoring dashboards and using monitoring toolsExperience with containers such as Singularity or DockerAbility to maintain a positive attitude while working in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentVetting:Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
