Job Details Job Location: Cohoes, NY 12047 Position Type: Full time Salary Range: $18.75 - $24.30 hourly (based on verifiable direct care experience) Job Shift: Any Direct Support Professional: Residential – Cohoes Available Shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 9:00am–9:00pm; Wednesday 5:00pm–9:00pm (40hours/week) Who we are Wildwood Programs is a provider of educational, residential, employment, and other community‑based supports to people with disabilities and their families. We hire those dedicated to making a difference in people’s lives. Who we are looking for We are looking for caring, compassionate Direct Support Professionals to work full time in a residential setting. Requirements High school diploma or GED. A valid NYS license and clean driving record. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Successful candidates will: Be positive and encouraging with those they support. Be professional. Have patience and a positive attitude. Have a strong desire to help others. Enjoy teamwork. What does a Direct Support Professional do in a residential setting? Assist with cooking. Assist with doing laundry. Assist with running errands. Teach people with disabilities how to do things on their own. Job duties may include Taking individuals to appointments and activities. Writing notes as needed. Helping individuals with tasks such as cooking, cleaning, showering, toileting, shopping, and managing money. Other duties as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
