Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,757–$1,806 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 2x3 Nights Start date: 06/01/2026 Work setting: hospital PCU/IMCU with cardiac patients; float to multiple floors as needed; EPIC EMR Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care for adult patients on PCU/IMCU floors with cardiac conditions, including STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain syndromes, and related diagnoses; maintain telemetry monitoring Float to ALL PCU/IMCU floors with cardiac-population care as needed, maintaining safe nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:3–4 Administer and adjust IV cardiac medications and drips per orders (e.g., Milrinone, Dobutamine) and manage vasopressors as directed; monitor responses and adjust plans accordingly Monitor hemodynamic status and cardiac rhythms; respond to changes in patient condition, perform ongoing assessments, and elevate to the medical team as required Utilize EPIC EMR for orders, documentation, and communication with the care team; participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care planning Provide patient and family education on care plans, medications, and discharge processes; ensure safety protocols and infection control standards are followed Requirements Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a facility of similar size and acuity (high-risk cardiology settings) BLS and ACLS certifications required Proficiency with EPIC EMR Ability to float to PCU/IMCU floors with cardiac population; maintain 1:3–4 patient ratios Minimal time off (RTO) requested; flexible night-shift schedule for travel assignment Benefits and Support Guaranteed hours 24/7 recruiter and travel support Fast credentialing Housing assistance Extension opportunities Nationwide assignments Dedicated support throughout the assignment Pay Disclaimer Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
