Produce Associate

As a part of our produce team, you’ll make important decisions about the quality of the produce that members and their families eat by ensuring availability, cleanliness and freshness. You will be in the front-lines of customer service – your smile makes a difference and you can help enhance the member’s shopping experience. Come, be a part of a team that offers our members more for less. What you'll do Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting, and thanking members. Provide exceptional customer service to members across the club, answering any questions they may have. Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area. Receive and stock merchandise in an organized manner. Maintain inventory to prevent out-of-stock and over-stock products. In addition, you will: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of produce products and collaborate with cross‑functional teams. Educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources. Communicate effectively and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas, track goods, maintain in‑stock levels, and control shrinkage in a timely manner. Understand processes and specifications related to produce quality (taste, preparation method, seasonality). Prepare produce according to established standards (trim, crisp, package, scale). Maintain product safety and follow company sanitation guidelines. Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Use handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality. Utilize perpetual inventory management techniques, rotate department products, ensure quality and date control standards, and eliminate waste. Guide peers and attend to customer needs. Advocate for the department and the club by modeling high‑quality service and products. Benefits Health benefits include medical, vision, and dental coverage. Hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00; the actual hourly rate will be equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives and premiums up to $3.00 per hour. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if hired. Preferred Qualifications: None.
