Overview
Registered Nurse – OB/GYN travel assignment in Glendale, California. Start date 09/28/2026 for a 13-week contract in a hospital setting. Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to OB/GYN patients using the nursing process; conduct assessments, plan care, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications, and assist with labor and delivery as needed; uphold patient safety and comfort.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with physicians, midwives, and other disciplines.
- Collect relevant data, document in the electronic health record, analyze information to determine care needs, and adjust plans accordingly.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans; participate in discharge planning and provide patient/family education.
- Maintain a safe, healing environment; participate in infection control and quality improvement activities; ensure appropriate delegation of duties.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California) or eligibility to practice in the state.
- Current CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required.
- EPIC (EHR) experience required.
- At least two years of recent nursing experience in OB/GYN or related acute care setting.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Ability to work night shifts in a hospital travel assignment; strong communication and critical thinking skills.
