DUBOIS, PENNSYLVANIA.   Penn Highlands Healthcare has an opportunity for emergency medicine physicians to join our team in Penn Highlands Healthcares Northwest Region. The Northwest region provides care in the heart of the Pennsylvania Wilds.  The area provides countless outdoor recreational activities while offering a low cost of living.

Penn Highlands Healthcare is a growing and financially stable healthcare system with 9 hospitals that cover 39 counties in PA. \n

Prospective applicants will be comfortable working at all 4 of our local emergency departments.

• 28K annual ED patient volume
\n
• New state-of-the-art ED that opened mid-April 2023
\n
• 44 rooms with 4 trauma bays
\n
• Level II Trauma Center
\n
• 360 bed hospital
\n
• 8,9,10 hour shifts
\n
• 36 hours of daily physician coverage and 24 hours of daily APP coverage
\n
• New state-of-the-art neuro trauma ICU
\n

• 14K annual ED patient volume
\n
• Critical Access Hospital
\n
• 12 hour shifts
\n
• Single Physician coverage with 12 hours of daily APP coverage

Penn Highlands Brookville

\n

\n
• 8K annual ED patient volume
\n
• Critical Access Hospital
\n
• 12, 24 hour shifts
\n
• Single Physician coverage
\n

Penn Highlands Clearfield

\n

\n
• 16K annual ED patient volume
\n
• Critical Access Hospital
\n
• 12 hour shifts
\n
• Single Physician coverage with 12 hours of daily APP coverage

• ABEM certified physicians $270/hr + $30/hr shift differential & holiday pay

• BE physicians $240/hr + $30/hr shift differential & holiday pay until certified
