Industrial Electrician (Journeyman)This Industrial Journeyman Electrician role focuses on overseeing electrical construction projects from pre-construction planning through to completion across multiple industrial and agricultural sites. You manage cost, quality, and schedule while performing hands-on electrical work such as running and bending conduit, installing wiring, and working with 3-phase motor control systems. You collaborate closely with foremen and other electricians to deliver large-scale projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.ResponsibilitiesOversee industrial electrical construction projects from initial planning through to successful completion, ensuring work is delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards.Install and run EMT, rigid, PVC, Ocal, stainless steel, and aluminum conduit on large-scale industrial and agricultural projects.Use hand benders and other bending equipment, including Chicago bender, hand bender, triple nickel, and Fresno bender, to bend conduit accurately to specifications.Pull and terminate electrical wiring and cabling in accordance with project drawings, codes, and safety standards.Work closely with foremen and other journeyman or apprentice electricians to coordinate daily tasks and maintain efficient workflow on site.Interpret and work from basic circuitry diagrams and electrical schematics to install and troubleshoot electrical systems.Install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial 3-phase motors and associated equipment.Work in motor control centers (MCC) and motor control rooms to install and service control panels, starters, and related control devices.Support and lead teams on large-scale projects, providing guidance and direction to other electricians as needed.Adapt to working on multiple projects per week across different locations, maintaining flexibility in assignments and tasks.Arrive on site reliably and on time, maintaining a professional and dependable presence.Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a collaborative, safety-focused work culture.Follow all relevant electrical codes, safety procedures, and company standards while performing work.Remain open to relocating between project sites, including areas such as Fresno, Hanford, Coalinga, Tulare, Firebaugh, and Merced, as project needs evolve.Essential SkillsJourneyman Electrician, Apprentice Electrician, or Electrical Technician experience with industrial project experience.Strong ability to bend EMT, rigid, PVC, Ocal, stainless steel, and aluminum conduit accurately and efficiently.Proficiency using conduit bending tools, including Chicago bender, hand bender, triple nickel, and Fresno bender.Solid understanding of basic circuitry and ability to read and work from electrical diagrams and schematics.Hands-on experience working on industrial 3-phase motors, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.Experience working in MCCs and motor control rooms on motor control panels and related equipment.Reliability in attendance and punctuality, consistently arriving on time for scheduled work.Flexible mindset with willingness to work on 23 different projects per week as needed.Positive, team-oriented attitude and strong interpersonal skills when working with foremen and other electricians.Ability to work safely and efficiently on large-scale industrial and agricultural electrical projects.Additional Skills & QualificationsFormal electrical training such as ET (Electrical Technician), Apprentice Electrician program, or Journeyman-level qualification.Experience on industrial and agricultural facilities, including grain and ranch-related projects.Comfort working across multiple geographic locations, including Fresno, Hanford, Coalinga, Tulare, Firebaugh, and Merced.Experience contributing to and occasionally leading teams on large-scale electrical projects.Demonstrated ability to manage changing priorities and project assignments while maintaining quality standards.Why Work Here?This opportunity offers long-term employment with the stability of ongoing industrial projects and a supportive culture focused on teamwork and professional growth. Safety standards are strictly observed, and attire is practical, task-appropriate workwear suitable for industrial construction sites.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clovis, CA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
