LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Duties

Implements, plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the Weapons and Munitions Management Element.

Applies military operations experience to analyze, develop, coordinate, and evaluate goals and objectives for planning and organizing projects to accomplish Air Component training goals and objectives.

Documents planning and programming decisions in appropriate formats to meet DoD, Joint Staff, Combatant Command, Air Force and C-MAJCOM training requirements.

Serves as the senior representative and spokesperson in communicating weapons/munitions program matters.

Maintains professional and technical expertise. Attends training, conferences, and briefings to maintain and increase individual knowledge of operational doctrine, tactics, techniques and procedures, training methods, processes, and procedures; including awareness of functional expertise in the assigned area.
