Details Float pool position within an Ortho unit that floats to Medical-Surgical, Oncology, Orthopedic, Advanced Care, and ICU units as needed Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week No on-call requirements 6 weekend shifts required within a 6-week period Rotating holiday coverage required Requirements Active IL RN license in good standing (temporary license accepted) Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association) Minimum one year of relevant nursing experience required ASN required, BSN preferred Level 1 Trauma experience required Epic charting experience required Experience precepting, safety reporting, and multidisciplinary collaboration Additional Information Provides direct nursing care across multiple patient populations in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team Conducts and documents patient assessments, care plans, and ongoing evaluations May precept staff from various units as needed Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted RTO not to exceed 7 total days within the 13-week contract Contingent workers may not work continuously beyond 1 year at this health system without a required 6-month break in service before returning American Traveler Job ID P-738290.
