Job Summary:

The Occupational Therapy Assistant supports licensed therapists by implementing treatment plans and providing patient care in outpatient and inpatient settings. This role ensures therapeutic activities are delivered effectively to promote patient recovery and mobility.

Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed occupational therapists in evaluating patient needs and developing treatment plans.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions and activities based on established protocols.
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment.
• Educate patients and family members on exercises and therapy techniques.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
• Comply with facility policies, safety standards, and confidentiality regulations.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Prior experience in outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to varied patient needs.
