What you'll do: The Manager, Market & Industry Solutions is NT Technologies' go-to resource on futures proprietary trading operations and a trusted expert for prop firm partners. This role supports NT Tech's product and partner strategies by bringing market knowledge and customer perspective into internal decision-making and external engagements. Working in close alignment with Business Development to drive retention, business growth, and inform strategy. In this role you will:Maintain deep expertise on futures prop firm operations, business models, and market trendsGather and synthesize market intelligence and competitive insights to inform NT Tech strategy, product roadmap, and partner solutionsRepresent NT Tech as a knowledgeable resource in partner and market-facing engagementsAdvocate for partner and customer needs across NT Tech teamsTranslate market feedback into actionable recommendations for product, service, and partner strategyMonitor emerging opportunities and risks within the prop trading segmentServe as prop trading subject matter resource for Product Development, Marketing, Customer Support, and BrokerageProvide input on product features, positioning, workflows, and operational requirements specific to prop firmsSupport training and enablement to help internal teams understand partner needs and market dynamicsServe as a futures prop resource for prop firm partners across the lifecycle, including initial planning and market assessment, solution design and business model alignment, staffing and operational structure, launch planning and execution, and ongoing operational optimizationCollaborate with Business Development to help shape solutions that drive partner success and NT Tech growthSupport the definition and evolution of NT Technologies' market positioning and growth strategyContribute to ecosystem diversification efforts to expand the partner base and reduce concentration riskIdentify opportunities to strengthen product differentiation in the futures prop trading marketLead and develop a team of market and industry solutions specialists, including hiring, onboarding, and performance managementSet team priorities and workload distribution across concurrent partner and internal engagementsProvide ongoing coaching and career development to direct reportsRepresent the team in cross-functional planning cycles and leadership reviewsOwn team KPIs and report progress to BD and executive leadershipWhat you'll need:5–8 years in futures trading, proprietary trading firms, or related fintech environmentsSolid understanding of prop firm business models, evaluation structures, and risk frameworksExperience working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Support teamsFamiliarity with B2B or B2B2C partner ecosystemsStrong subject matter credibility and ability to work effectively with senior stakeholdersAnalytical mindset with practical operational insightClear, concise communicator with strong presentation skillsAbility to translate complex concepts into actionable guidanceSelf-directed and comfortable operating in a fast-growth environment2+ years of direct people management experience, including hiring, developing, and managing performance of direct reportsDemonstrated ability to build and lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced, matrixed environmentExperience setting team goals, managing priorities, and communicating upward to senior stakeholdersBonus points for:Direct experience working within or advising a futures prop trading firmExperience supporting product or platform development in trading environmentsExperience contributing to industry-focused initiatives or go-to-market effortsCompensation:The salary range for this role will be $130,000.00 - $180,000.00 USD. In addition, this position will also receive an annual target bonus of 10%. Bonus pay at NinjaTrader is based on individual performance (50%) as well as company/team performance (50%).Salary and bonus earnings are only two components of the total compensation package offered by NinjaTrader. NinjaTrader offers a 401K plan through ADP under which the company will match up to 3.5% of employee contributions. Annual paid time off allowance accrues at a rate of 18 days per year (some positions may qualify for more) plus seven paid holidays.Location:This role is based in Chicago, IL. We are not open to remote candidates for this roleHybrid:For Chicago-based employees, we follow a hybrid work schedule: In-office Tuesday through Thursday, with remote work on Mondays and Fridays.
