Inpatient Psychiatrist at Phelps Memorial Hospital, Behavioral Rehabilitation Unit – Northwell Health – Sleepy Hollow, NY

Northwell Health’s Department of Behavioral Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Inpatient Psychiatrist to join our Behavioral Health team at Phelps Hospital. The role involves working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, providing comprehensive care, and ensuring continuity of treatment for patients in our substance use rehabilitation unit. Addiction training is preferred, but not required.

The 22‑bed, 28‑day substance use rehabilitation unit provides acute and round‑the‑clock care to adults with co‑occurring mental health and substance use disorders. The program offers individualized, goal‑centered treatment delivered by an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, behavioral health counselors, licensed social workers, behavioral health assistants, and recreational therapists. General medical care is provided by the Hospitalist service.
