Personal Banker

About the Role The Personal Banker is responsible for delivering exceptional client experience by adhering to our Breakthrough Client Experience Standards. They acquire new and expand existing relationships with clients by asking questions to identify needs, offering appropriate products and services, and referring clients to the appropriate business partners within the Bank when needed. They also uncover and originate consumer lending opportunities, provide instant acknowledgment, identify needs, and respond to inquiries in a timely manner. Responsibilities Engage clients and prospects in client financial reviews and business financial reviews to provide solutions and uncover additional financial needs. Make recommendations and follow through on commitments to clients. Maintain direct contact with external and internal clients and consistently provide proactive solutions and problem resolution in alignment with the bank’s Breakthrough Client Service Standards. Open Consumer and Business accounts for existing and new clients. Act as a resource to the Client Service Specialists by contributing to the team environment and filling in on teller functions (including cash transactions) when needed. Support the branch goal of identifying and referring a wide range of bank products and services to the appropriate internal business partners. Resolve client issues and requests, exhibiting strong follow-through. Build familiarity with business, consumer, and trust entities. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED, required. 1 year of Teller or other banking experience preferred. Basic knowledge of consumer banking and business products and services offered. Ability and desire to actively develop consumer lending skills. Ability to accurately handle cash, balance accounts and drawers, and perform accurate calculations. Proficient in expanding the client relationship with emphasis on creating new relationships and expanding existing relationships utilizing a personal and business bio and rapport with customers. Nationwide Multistate Licensing and Registry (NMLS) preferred. Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $19.00 - $22.66 per hour. Role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation.
