General Purpose of the Job: Supports Servers by preparing dining room for guests by cleaning tables; setting decorations, and utensils. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of The Evelyn Team Member include, but are not limited to: - Greet all guests as they arrive and leave the restaurant with an upbeat, friendly manner - Demonstrate a fun and welcoming attitude and effectively work as a team to ensure the highest level of service for all guests. - Protects establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation and safety policies. - Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to patron spills or other special needs. - Supports wait staff by setting-up and replenishing condiment stands, trash containers liners, and bus stations. - Closes dining facility by cleaning chairs and tables; sweeping and/or vacuuming floors; removing trash and recyclables from the facility. - Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. - Informs management of guests concerns at all times. - Other duties as assigned. Requirements: - Must attend and successfully complete orientation, and Team Member training program prior to working a shift. - Must review and abide by all company policies and procedures as outlined. - Must successfully attend, complete and maintain all other required training in compliance with local and state regulations, such as food and/or alcohol service certifications.
