About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Must have license in hand prior to start date. Certifications: BLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred Experience with charting system required Description: Charge coverage may be needed depending on operational needs, with provided training and resources. Only submit clinicians who are comfortable with this requirement. The unit cannot accommodate requests for time off during major holidays. Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. First-time travelers are not accepted. Temporary licenses may be obtained after submitting permanent license applications. All travelers are required to float within the facility or to nearby affiliate hospitals. Travel experience is required. Candidates must have experience managing various patient diagnoses including medical-surgical cases. Previous experience in community hospitals or with specific patient care procedures is preferred. Candidates should be proficient in various nursing skills including managing chemotherapies, telemetry, and wound care. Knowledge of handling specialized medical equipment is also beneficial. All submissions should satisfy the established qualification criteria.
