Logistics Specialist

AGRILAND FS is looking for a well-organized and detailed individual to coordinate the daily movement of fuel and energy products to ensure safe, accurate, and timely deliveries to customers and company locations. As a member of our AGRILAND FS team, this individual will work in our Winterset corporate office and play an integral role in providing our customers with the petroleum and propane energy services they need. Core responsibilities: Coordinate and dispatch drivers for daily fuel deliveries Build efficient delivery schedules based on customer needs, product requirements, driver and/or equipment availability, and geography Monitor deliveries throughout the day and make adjustments as conditions change Communicate route changes, customer priorities, delivery instructions, and other important information to drivers Maintain accurate information within dispatch, fleet management, and ERP systems What we need from you: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes Willingness to learn the fuel and energy transportation business Understanding of DOT regulations preferred Customer service experience Strong communication skills Good math and business skills Attention to detail Good time management skills Demonstrate the ability to analyze data and problem solve Excellent computer skills including proprietary software and Microsoft Office with emphasis in Excel What we offer our team: Competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, and more Solid retirement future with a 100% company-funded Pension Plan at no cost to you, plus an additional 401k with company match Resources for career development and opportunities for career advancement Casual office attire with company clothing allowance Are you a good match to join the AGRILAND FS Team ?
