Job Description: Manager, IT Procurement


Location: Remote (EST Hours)

Role Overview:


The Manager of IT Procurement will coordinate and manage procurement activities, ensuring alignment with FX planning efforts and Agency priorities. This role involves overseeing the development of procurement strategies, supporting solicitation activities, and managing vendor relationships to meet the Agency's business needs, particularly in the healthcare sector.


Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate procurement planning with other FX planning efforts.
• Manage and support procurement activities, including the development of statements of work and scope of services.
• Support solicitation activities, including CMS reviews, ITN postings, vendor questions, evaluations, and negotiations.
• Adapt to changing work plans based on Agency needs and ensure timely delivery of procurement documentation and artifacts.
• Develop and execute FX procurement strategies, processes, and procedures in line with Agency policy.
• Assist in status reporting and issue escalation to management and FX Governance.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 7 years in business roles, including managing teams in asset management, procurement, finance, or related functions.
• Preferred Experience: Healthcare-related projects, particularly those involving CMS requirements, Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS), Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW), Decision Support Systems (DSS), and eligibility or enrolment systems.

This role requires a strategic thinker with strong procurement and vendor management skills, capable of adapting to dynamic needs and ensuring successful procurement outcomes in a healthcare-focused environment.
