Job Title: Registered Nurse - Med Surg/Telemetry/Progressive Care Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Medical Surgical, Telemetry, Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of previous experience required. At least 1 travel contract completed preferred. License: State license required. Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) Must-Have: - Must have experience with chest tubes, fem stops, trachs, CBIs, drains, and central lines. - Must have experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Isuprel, and Milrinone, including some titration. - Must provide a driver's license. - Must provide work history and resume. - Must provide a skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date. - Must provide license verification. - Must provide a copy of required certifications. - Must provide one supervisory reference at the time of submission. - Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility. Description: The traveler will be a member of the interdisciplinary team. The traveler will contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients. Floating within the same discipline across local campuses may be required. Working weekends every other weekend will be necessary. The position may involve on-call responsibilities.
