Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting one-on-one meetings with clients to explore their mental health goals, preferences, and available treatment options to establish personalized care plans.

• Designing and implementing tailored rehabilitation plans based on each client's unique educational background, personal strengths, and future employment aspirations, making ongoing modifications as necessary.

• Engaging closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to develop and execute comprehensive treatment strategies that address various mental health needs.

• Maintaining detailed case files and records, documenting client information such as eligibility, insurance details, and service history to ensure compliance and continuity of care.
\n
• Monitoring client progress over time, evaluating the effectiveness of treatment strategies, and making necessary adjustments to facilitate goal achievement.
\n
• Providing ongoing support to clients participating in job training and placement programs, addressing any challenges or barriers they encounter.
\n
• Collaborating with clients' family and social support networks to ensure a holistic understanding of client needs and maximizing treatment efficacy.

• Generating timely assessments and reports on client needs, including recommendations for referrals to additional resources when appropriate.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse client base, including individuals facing mental health and mood disorders in both residential and outpatient contexts. Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in a related field such as counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) is mandatory.

• Prior experience working with clients experiencing mental health/mood disorders in therapeutic environments.

• A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Strong clinical abilities, including proficiency in motivational interviewing and evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

While prior experience is essential, candidates who have successfully worked in community health settings or have demonstrated expertise in supporting clients through job placement and rehabilitation programs will be favored. Additionally, familiarity with case management systems and documentation best practices will be advantageous.
