Medical Biller (Remote)

OSIS is seeking a Billing Tech II to execute revenue cycle workflows and foster strong relationships with our valued Members and RCR Customers. This full-time, remote position offers the opportunity to grow professionally, contribute meaningfully, and collaborate with a dynamic team—all while working from the comfort of your home.

What You'll Do

Perform end-to-end revenue cycle tasks: transactions, AR, coding, reconciliations, denials, appeals, and more
Navigate federal, state, and payer websites to support billing and compliance
Research coding and billing requirements to ensure accurate submissions
Collaborate across departments to meet customer needs and support organizational goals
Participate in committees, mentor junior team members, and support training initiatives
Analyze workflows and recommend best practices using NextGen PM

What You'll Bring

Required:

2+ years of healthcare billing experience
2+years' experience with NextGen
Familiarity with clearinghouses and healthcare portals
Proficiency in ICD-10 and CPT coding
Outstanding communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and meet productivity goals

Preferred:

Experience with FQHC, dental, and behavioral health billing
Proficiency with MS Excel
Hands-on experience with NextGen EPM, EDR, and Optical
NextGen Certified Professional (NCP) or willingness to certify within 6 months

Work From Home Requirements & Schedule

Cable or fiber internet with minimum download speed of 20 Mbps and upload speed of 5 Mbps
Monday–Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (occasional evenings/weekends)
Limited travel: 5–10 days/year
