We follow this philosophy in all our academic programs in service to the wide range of people we serve, from preschool to master's.Job SummaryJob Summary: The Inclusive Support Specialist will provide comprehensive services for the special education department under the direction of the Director of Special Education and Assistant Director of Special Education as appropriate by supporting duties to assist with administrative processes; providing assistance and information to Fortune staff, and parents by ensuring efficient operation of support functions; and coordinating assigned projects and department activities, including the coordination of 504 Plans.Requirements / QualificationsPlease review the full posting for Essential Duties and Responsibilities.Education and Experience - Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field - 3-5 years’ experience, working with children and adolescents with and without disabilities. - Experience with 504’s - Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations (IDEA, ADA, Section 504). - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. - Proficiency in crisis intervention and conflict resolution techniques. - Experience with data entry, basic Outlook and Word systems, PowerPoint, and Excel experienceComments and Other InformationThis position offers a comprehensive benefits package, including 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and their eligible dependents.As a 12-month position, employees also receive:96 hours of paid sick leave annually2 floating holidays per year12 vacation days per year1 week of paid Spring Break1 week of paid Thanksgiving Break2 weeks of paid Winter BreakThe paid holiday breaks listed above are provided separately and do not reduce your accrued vacation balance.Please note that while a salary range is listed for this position, Fortune does not typically hire at the top of the range unless a candidate's qualifications and experience strongly support placement at that level.
