Forklift Operator

Gateway Logistics Hub
Gateway Logistics Hub is hiring three Forklift Operators for our distribution center in Kansas City, MO. We ship home goods and furniture to stores across the Midwest, moving about 40 trailers a day. What you will do:
- Load and unload trailers using sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Move pallets to and from racking up to 30 feet high
- Scan pallets and keep inventory locations accurate
- Do a safety check on your forklift at the start of each shift
- Help with other warehouse tasks when it is quiet
- At least one year of forklift experience in a warehouse
- A forklift certification, or able to pass our on-site certification in your first week
- Safety-minded and able to work at a steady pace
- Comfortable using a handheld scanner
- $20 to $22 per hour, plus $1.50 more per hour on weekend overtime
- Medical, dental and vision insurance after 30 days
- 401(k) with a 3% match
- Paid time off and 7 paid holidays
- Steel-toe boot allowance every year
