Position Details * Schedule: Monday through Friday * Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM * Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour * Location: Indianapolis, IN 46214 Key Responsibilities As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the appearance, functionality, and safety of the community. Responsibilities include: * Completing a high volume of resident service requests (work orders) efficiently and professionally * Assisting with apartment turns and preparing units for new residents * Performing general maintenance and repair tasks, including: * Plumbing repairs * Electrical troubleshooting * Appliance repairs * Carpentry work * Painting and drywall repairs * Conducting preventive maintenance as needed * Ensuring all work is completed in compliance with company standards and safety guidelines * Providing excellent customer service to residents and property staff Requirements * Previous apartment maintenance or general maintenance experience preferred * Ability to complete a high volume of work orders and/or apartment turns * Must have your own vehicle or reliable transportation * Golf carts are not considered reliable transportation for this position * Ability to lift, carry, and move maintenance equipment and supplies as needed * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills * Dependable attendance and a professional attitude Why Work with BG Staffing?
