This role helps keep daily clinical operations organized and ensures patients receive a positive, efficient experience.Key ResponsibilitiesAnswer phones, schedule appointments, check patients in/out, and maintain accurate recordsObtain and document patient histories, vital signs, test results, and other medical information while maintaining confidentialityPrepare examination and treatment rooms, equipment, and instrumentsMaintain medical supply inventory and stock exam roomsPrepare and administer medications under physician direction and supervisionAssist providers with examinations, procedures, patient care, and pre-/post-procedure transfersProvide compassionate support to patients and familiesManage appointment scheduling, rescheduling, follow-ups, and waitlist opportunitiesDocument reasons when follow-up appointments cannot be scheduled before the patient leavesMaintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other applicable healthcare regulationsComplete required annual training and other duties as assignedQualifications Required:High School Diploma or GEDAt least 1 year of healthcare experienceMedical Assistant certification, if required by applicable regulationsStrong verbal, written, interpersonal, and customer service skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office or similar softwareStrong organization, attention to detail, and recordkeeping skillsAbility to work independently and maintain strict patient confidentialityKnowledge of medical terminology, spelling, and office ethicsBenefitsHealth, Dental & Vision InsuranceLife & AD&D InsurancePaid Time Off (PTO) and Sick Time401(k) Retirement PlanCompany-Paid HolidaysEmployee Assistance ProgramHealth Management ToolsEmergency Travel AssistanceLifeMart Employee DiscountsBonusly Employee RecognitionDailyPay - On-Demand Pay AccessJoin Our TeamIf you're a compassionate, organized Medical Assistant looking to make a difference in patients' lives, we'd love to hear from you.
