Reports Officer

OverviewVTG is seeking Reports Officers to support our Client’s challenging operational requirements at multiple locations in the Washington Metropolitan Area. What will you do?Successful Reports Officer candidates will work in an integrated government-contractor team fusing intelligence information from multiple intelligence disciplines. Candidates will be expected to effectively interact with customer personnel at all levels within the organization and demonstrate proficiency in manipulating various classified and open source databases. Reports Officers identify and evaluate possible counterintelligence concerns, drive collection operations through written products and briefings, and empower collectors by producing detailed targeting packages.Do you have what it takes?Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree and7-12 years of applicable experience (Level 3)12-20 years of applicable experience (Level 4)20+ years of applicable experience (Level 5)Cable writing experienceFamiliarity with classified databases, including specific targeting toolsStrong briefing and writing skills as well as the ability to work well with teams or individually with minimal supervisionRegional and/or functional expertise in a geographic region of interestPrior experience in supporting intelligence operations or familiarity with the Intelligence Community and its objectivesActive TS/SCI clearance with polygraph at the time of applicationDesired Qualifications:Masters degree Customer certification as a Reports Officers or Specialized Skills OfficerForeign field experience from at least one overseas tour or extensive overseas TDY experienceExperience in Intelligence Operations / Analysis / Support to Field OperationsExperience identifying targeting leads through the exploitation of all-source databasesExperience using customer databases to monitor field traffic and communicate with field officesPay Range: VTG’s estimated starting pay range is $140,000 - $195,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
